Ex- Doctor Charged with Sexual Assault Allegations Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- physician stands accused of carrying out assaults involving 38 victims who were patients.
The Grave Charges
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of sexual offences – some of which involve some against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
A senior CPS official said, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the forty-five sexual offences comprise:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
